We are a serious and competitive company. Our team has professional training in the different areas. In order to translate, interpret, transcribe, caption and proofread and edit texts successfully in another language, a person must fully know both languages and also must have a cultural competence that will allow him or her to understand the original message and convey the same idea in the target language.
Translating involves the understanding of a message in order to transmit it in a different language in a written form.
Transcription is shifting an oral message into a written message.
Interpretation is expressing a message orally in a different language.
Consecutive: The interpreter takes notes while the speaker talks, and once the speaker has finished, the interpreter transmits the message.
Chuchotage or whispering: The interpreter conveys the message by whispering to a person or a small group.
It consists in revising and correcting different texts based on grammar, spelling, syntax and style.
Subtitling or captioning involves writing a translated text, usually a narration or dialogue, for a video or an image.
Simultaneous: Real-time interpretation. Usually, the interpreter is a few seconds behind the speaker. This kind of interpretation requires a booth and special equipment.
Sight: The interpreter reads out loud a written text in a different language.
Liaison: The interpreter acts as a communication bridge between the different parts. This kind of interpretation is commonly used in business meetings and interviews.
